Galveston location. Service was fantastic. The decor was beautiful. It looks just like the one we go to downtown Houston, which we love. I ordered the prosciutto and cheese omelette which was such a yummy combo J ordered chicken and waffles. The Houston location served the chicken on the bone while Galveston served chicken strips. I don't know if this is a Hearsay change or varies by location but on the bone is preferred and only reason for a missing star. The whole trio was planned around j's chicken and waffle craving. Coffee and mimosas were great and the Bloody Mary has veggie infused vodka which made the whole flavor profile very savory. I've attempted to snap a picture but from what i can remember there was tomato, garlic, bell peppers, lime/lemon, among others infused. It was a nice touch.

We couldn't stop laughing!

Came here for a girls night and we had the absolute best experience. I wish could remember her name but our waitress was 12/10 phenomenal. We were there on 2/8/2025, we had a group of 7 girls, and we sat on the first floor. Everyone enjoyed their food. Personally I had the crab crusted redfish and it might be my new favorite dish on the entire island. Some of the other highlights were - our friends table side smoked old fashioned (that we all tried and loved) - the charcuterie board to start (seriously just get this. It's perfection) - and our group dessert even having "happy girls night out" written on it! 100% will return Only negative comment is the weird photographer guy who tried to sell us pictures during our meal. He forced us to take a picture, came back later with them framed, and then tried to get us to buy them. Please get rid of that. It took away from a very classy experience

Really been sleeping on happy hour here. It was a week night and it's off season so plenty of room at the bar. For two people we got 4 appetizers. -Charcuterie plate: good size to nibble on, all the classics items you would find. -Tuna avocado cucumber salad: definitely a fav if you want cold, good portion, liked the sauce for the tuna. Just needed a few more wonton chips to scoop it up. -Crab cake: probably my least favorite, didn't love the chipotle aioli flavor profile and a little cakier/crumblier than preferred. -Twin bacon wrapped shrimp: jumbo shrimp me who doesn't love bacon. The cheddar grits and creole sauce were also a nice complement to the shrimp. -happy hour wines were also priced well

Pricy, fancy, tasty modern bar and food. Date nite in Texas, and we wanted to try the best ribeye we could get. So we find this place in Galveston and take an uber to give it a try. When we got there, we were just able to snag a table. We sat down and our server asked for drinks. Started with some aqua panna, then got some mocktails to try. Server was quick to grab our order and was very personable and professional. The watermelon mocktail I got was refreshing but used a bit of the rind to give it the bitter elements to the drink. It needed a little salt to balance things out, but the spiced chile rim was a nice zing to the melon rind tinge. The meatballs were good. Meaty in a solid ragu. The chicken nachos were 6 bites of nacho, composed to the exact balance of creamy, crunchy, salty, spicy, meaty, and herbally. It was a nice bite. The steak we shared. She got the scallops because I don't like gulf seafood, and the steak was perfectly med rare and very juicy and seasoned properly. The grits were cheesy and creamy, and the street corn was sweet and creamy, but a little salty from the cheese. Everything was very tasty, but it was a very pricy meal as well. For the quality, it very much justifies the price tag but it's not nice enough to just show up randomly. To me, this place is somewhere you take someone when you need to know you're going to get a good meal regardless of the price. It's a great special occasion place, or a place to go if you want drinks. It's pricy, but it's really good.

First visit with two friends and we all loved our food. The poblano soup was delicious. I had salmon which was cooked to perfection and made even better by being smothered in a delicious crab sauce. Also had mashed sweet potatoes and zucchini. My friends had fish tacos. I tasted my friend's roasted Brussels sprouts. Omg, they were so good! The ambience was delightful, especially now in the Christmas season. And the service was excellent. I will definitely return.

Beautiful spot in downtown Galveston to dine. I was a bit annoyed that the hostesses told us there were no tables for our party indoors when we tried to walk in for dinner since it seemed at least 1/3 empty at 6PM, and said only outdoor seating was available (It was like 100 degrees!). We walked down the block since there are many other restaurants on the same block, but nothing really caught my eye. I went back and asked again why so many tables seemed empty, when all the reservations were coming in... and magically they were able to find a table for us. Not sure why it took some insisting to get an indoor table Anyway, that aside, I enjoyed our dinner and the food. The high ceilings, chandelier and other hanging lights made for a nice ambience. We got the Blackened Redfish tacos which were delicious- I appreciated that they were grilled and not fried, and came with a delicious side of creamy corn. My Crab Crusted Redfish was as good as it sounds- the fish was super tender, and the crab crust which is baked in was crunchy, lightly creamy, and so perfect with the fish. I liked that it wasn't a completely deep fried crust, so can easily be brushed off if you prefer less crusting. My husband also loved the Gumbo soup. My dad was with us and vegetarian, and this was the only spot on the block I could find with a veggie burger option (impossible patty) which we appreciated. Also appreciated the kids' menu options which came with a side of fresh fruit. Our server was very busy, and we didn't see her much except when we ordered and needed to check. Lovely spot to eat downtown! to be safe make a dinner reservation!
